MRA President Talks Construction with HGTV Star Rico León

Join Rico León at METALCON: A Must-See Discussion on Improving Construction

Earlier this year, the President of the Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA), and Isaiah Industries‘ President, Todd Miller, sat down with HGTV’s “Rico to the Rescue” star, Rico León, for an insightful podcast. Rico is set to address the metal construction industry at METALCON next month with his Keynote Address, titled “Real Life Scenarios from Nightmares to Dreams Come True.” You can catch it on Wednesday morning, October 18th, at 10:00 AM in the Flack Metals Main Theatre, located in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Exhibit Hall.

During the podcast with Miller, Rico León emphasized the importance of improving homeowner-contractor relationships and streamlining processes. He hopes to educate both homeowners and contractors for a smoother construction experience.

Rico has firsthand experience as both a contractor and a homeowner, and he’s known for holding builders accountable. In his keynote, he’ll share memorable experiences and lessons learned, covering the ups and downs of construction, the insurance industry, dealing with unreliable contractors, and offering honest advice to everyday people.

In his upcoming keynote, Rico León will touch on:

    1. Managing a change in project contractor

    1. Tips for managing business relationships in emotional situations

    1. The role of a client advocate

    1. Skills needed to mediate conflicts between clients and subcontractors

Following his presentation, Tony Bouquot from the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) will moderate a discussion, including an audience Q&A. There will also be a VIP meet and greet with Rico and an autograph signing session.

And the best part? This session is FREE and takes place in the Flack Global Metals Theatre at METALCON within the Expo Hall where you can also earn 1 AIA Learning Unit. It’s just one of the many compelling reasons to attend METALCON this year.
