Keynote at METALCON 2025 Plans to Highlight Economic Shifts Impacting Construction

Alex Chausovsky, an economic advisor, market researcher, and future trends analyst, will deliver a keynote address at METALCON 2025. His presentation, Economic and Labor Market Update – What to Expect in 2025 & Beyond, will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m., in Las Vegas.

With more than 20 years of experience in economics, industrial manufacturing, automation, talent and workforce dynamics and emerging technology trends, Chausovsky serves as director of analytics and consulting at The Bundy Group, an investment bank specializing in business sales, acquisitions, and capital raises.

During his keynote, he will address time-sensitive economic events shaping the landscape, including inflation, interest rates, tariffs, immigration, labor market conditions, consumer spending, business investment, and industrial activity. He will provide an in-depth analysis of construction-related data and offer insights into the evolving tariff landscape, examining its implications for key industry players.

According to Chausovsky, as the U.S. macro-economy finished 2024 on a strong note, driven by consumer spending, the industrial sector (B2B) faced substantial headwinds. The Federal Reserve’s aggressive interest rate hikes effectively curbed inflation, but also raised borrowing costs, stifling capital investment. With the rate-cutting cycle now underway, the Fed is navigating a delicate balance between controlling inflation and sustaining economic and job market stability. Looking ahead, leading indicators signal an improvement in the United States economy, but the administration’s agenda will undoubtedly influence the trajectory.

Chausovsky will provide an analysis of macro-economic trends and their implications for businesses across industries, offering practical and actionable insights for business leaders. His session will equip attendees with tools to navigate an evolving economic climate, plan for future trends, and enhance their organization’s strategic planning initiatives.

Judy Geller, vice president of trade shows at METALCON, says, “We are thrilled to welcome [Chausovsky] to the event stage in Las Vegas. His presentation will provide invaluable insights that attendees can apply immediately to become more data-driven decision-makers in running their businesses.”

METALCON 2025 is Oct. 21 to Oct. 23 at Las Vegas Convention Center.
