Who Should Be Nominated?

The METALCON 40 Under 40 program recognizes emerging leaders across the metal construction and design industry. Candidates may come from a wide range of disciplines and career paths, including:

Project Managers  //  Estimators //  Architects //  Engineers //  Detailers //  Fabricators //  Installers //  Foremen and Field Leaders //  Operations Professionals //  Business Development & Sales Leaders //  Marketing Professionals //  Manufacturers’ Representatives //  Product Development & Innovation Teams //  Company Owners and Entrepreneurs // And other emerging leaders helping shape the future of the metal construction and design industry.

If they’ve demonstrated leadership, innovation, industry impact, or a commitment to advancing the metal construction industry, we encourage a nomination.

Eligibility & Rules

  • Must be 40 years of age or under
  • Should be nominated by a peer, manager, employee, or industry professional or self nominated
  • If self-nominated, you must provide one external reference from peer, manager, employee or industry professional
  • Nominee does not need to be a METALCON attendee
  • No specific job title or years of experience required
  • Must be actively working within or contributing to the metal construction industry
