VEGAS INSIDER – GETTING AROUND

Located only 3.5 miles from the convention center, taxis, ride-shares, or a direct bus are all available transportation options from the airport. If you’ve never been to Vegas, you may assume it’s a breeze to walk from one end of the Strip to the other. But who wants—or needs—to walk when there are so many options to get you from point A to point B, and all the places in between? The Las Vegas Monorail offers a convenient way to explore the Strip in less than 15 minutes with speeds of up to 50 mph. The 3.9-mile elevated system operates trains that arrive every four to eight minutes at seven different stations. Buy tickets here or download mobile tickets to your phone’s mobile wallet. While at the Convention Center, use the newly opened Vegas Loop at Las Vegas Convention Center for fast and accessible transportation across the campus, connecting the new West Hall with the existing campus (North/Central/South halls).
