josef newgard

Congratulations to METALCON ’22 keynote speaker Josef Newgarden and Team Penske for winning the Indy 500 this past Sunday. Just as the thrilling finish was a race highlight, so was Josef’s talk on teamwork at last year’s show.

On Day Two of the show last year, Josef shared stories on the inner workings of his race team and highlighted lessons learned regarding communication and teamwork on his path to the top tier of American Motorsports. He spoke about how important it is to have people in your life who support you. For him, that is his father, encouraging him every step of the way. He also spoke about the role of each individual on his team and how together, they contribute to the overall success of the team. On behalf of the METALCON team, we’re delighted to see him and his team put his words into successful action at the most prestigious race in the world. Here are some photos from Josef’s keynote address at METALCON 2022.
