HELP LAS VEGAS AREA VETERANS

“This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.” — Elmer Davis, American news reporter, author, and Director of the United States Office of War Information during World War II

American veterans demonstrate bravery and heroism in their roles as soldiers, risking their lives to safeguard their fellow citizens. The exceptional voluntary service of military members greatly contributes to our unique nation. Following their discharge or retirement, they are entitled to certain benefits, but, unfortunately, they sometimes face challenges in accessing these rightful benefits. This is where organizations such as Semper Fi & America’s Fund (The Fund) play a crucial role.

METALCON continues its long-standing tradition of making a difference in the community of the show’s location by partnering with The Fund for this year’s “Give Back” program.

Since its inception, The Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans in all branches of the military, has directed urgently needed resources and financial support to critically wounded, ill, and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces alongside their families.

“Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.” — Booker T. Washington, American educator and reformer

Whether it is your 5th, 10th or 28th year attending METALCON, we thank you for your past generosity in making a difference in the lives of others. We are once again asking for your help.

HOW TO DONATE

Make your donation HERE or at the show. Not only will you “win big” by helping others, but you will have a chance to win incredible prizes. At the show, head to The Deck and donate to be entered into a daily raffle for prizes including a Yeti Cooler, Milwaukee Tool Pack, and a custom METALCON Raiders Jersey. NEW this year — “Spin to Win” for instant prizes including vintage METALCON swag, t-shirts, gift cards, and more! Daily raffles will be announced at 3:30 on Wednesday and Thursday and at 12:15 on Friday (must be present to win).

SPECIAL CHECK PRESENTATION AND MEET & GREET

We look forward to seeing you this week at METALCON ’23! And if you haven’t registered yet, there is still time – REGISTER HERE.
