METALCON has partnered with Semper Fi & America’s Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans in all branches of the military. The program was created to direct urgently needed resources and financial support to critically wounded, ill, and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces alongside their families. Contributions to The Fund can be made before the show and on-site at The Deck, located just inside the Exhibit Hall. METALCON is offering the opportunity to donate and win incredible prizes for all 3 show days. Your generous donations will not only support a great cause but also give you the chance to win amazing rewards like a Yeti Cooler, Milwaukee Tool Pack, a custom METALCON Raiders Jersey, T-shirts, vintage METALCON memorabilia, dozens more prizes as well as the feel-good privilege of wearing The Fund’s official wristband.

Meet veteran Corporal Adam Bautz, U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) (Ret.), a “graduate” of The Fund’s Apprenticeship Program, at The Deck for a special check presentation ceremony on Thursday, October 19 at 3:30 pm.

From the minute you arrive at the Harry Reid International Airport, you know you “have arrived.” Greeted by slot machines and neon lights, the airport is a destination in itself. Located only 3.5 miles from the convention center, taxis, ride-shares, or a direct bus are all available transportation options from the airport. If you’ve never been to Vegas, you may assume it’s a breeze to walk from one end of the Strip to the other. But who wants—or needs—to walk when there are so many options to get you from point A to point B, and all the places in between? The Las Vegas Monorail offers a convenient way to explore the Strip in less than 15 minutes with speeds of up to 50 mph. The 3.9-mile elevated system operates trains that arrive every four to eight minutes at seven different stations. Buy tickets here or download mobile tickets to your phone’s mobile wallet. While at the Convention Center, use the newly opened Vegas Loop at Las Vegas Convention Center for fast and accessible transportation across the campus, connecting the new West Hall with the existing campus (North/Central/South halls).
