HELP LAS VEGAS AREA VETERANS

METALCON has partnered with Semper Fi & America’s Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans in all branches of the military. VEGAS INSIDER – GETTING AROUND

From the minute you arrive at the Harry Reid International Airport, you know you “have arrived.” Greeted by slot machines and neon lights, the airport is a destination in itself. Located only 3.5 miles from the convention center, taxis, ride-shares, or a direct bus are all available transportation options from the airport. If you’ve never been to Vegas, you may assume it’s a breeze to walk from one end of the Strip to the other. But who wants—or needs—to walk when there are so many options to get you from point A to point B, and all the places in between? The Las Vegas Monorail offers a convenient way to explore the Strip in less than 15 minutes with speeds of up to 50 mph. The 3.9-mile elevated system operates trains that arrive every four to eight minutes at seven different stations. Buy tickets here or download mobile tickets to your phone’s mobile wallet. While at the Convention Center, use the newly opened Vegas Loop at Las Vegas Convention Center for fast and accessible transportation across the campus, connecting the new West Hall with the existing campus (North/Central/South halls).
