Samuel Chastain

Samuel Chastain started in the Metal Composite Industry in 1994 with Alcoa Architectural Products (formerly Reynolds Metals) in sales and business development for the South American region. In the 2000’s his roles migrated into global marketing, product development, and strategic analysis – culminating in a three-year assignment in Europe. After six years with Alucoil North America as its General Manager, he spent time on the MCM fabricator side of the business before settling at Alfrex, Inc in Buford, GA. At Alfrex he is the Commercial Director with responsibilities spanning sales, marketing, and technical services. He is also the current chairperson of the Technical Committee of the MCM Alliance.

Kevin “Dutch” Juedeman
Southeast Region Sales Manager, Arconic Architectural
Dutch has 35 years’ experience in the architectural aluminum market in both Glass and Glazing Systems and Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). For the past 24 years he has been associated with the Reynobond brand of ACM as produced by Arconic Architectural Products LLC. He currently serves as the field sales representative in the southeast, but he has held a wide variety of roles during his tenure with the organization in operations, procurement and engineering.

Paul Deffenbaugh has more than 30 years of experience in construction as both a contractor and an industry thought leader. He serves as executive director of the Metal Composite Material Alliance and is founder and president of Deep Brook Media, which provides content creation and communication services to the construction industry. In his unique career, he has led media covering both the residential and commercial design and construction industries. Among the titles he has directed are Professional Builder, Custom Builder, Housing Giants, Remodeling, Metal Construction News, and Metal Architecture. His career has provided him distinctive opportunities to observe the evolution of the homebuilding, remodeling, and commercial construction markets. An award-winning writer and editor, Deffenbaugh has witnessed firsthand the birth and growth of new media, including AI, and he is clear-eyed about its strengths and weaknesses in serving a trade audience. He is a strong advocate for encouraging young men and women to find careers in the trades.
