METALCON ’23 – IT’S SHOWTIME!

As the last pieces of machinery are being assembled, booths constructed, and badges printed, METALCON ’23 is about to begin at the Las Vegas Convention Center! With less than 24 hours to go before the first workshops start, #MagnificentMetalMonday presents some last minute show reminders and announcements:

VOTE in the People’s Choice Awards! Select your top three award-winning Top Products and vote for them to receive the People’s Choice Awards, announced on Friday, October 20.

PASSPORT TO WIN

Pick up your PASSPORT when you pick up your badge from registration. Visit the participating exhibitors to get a stamp and jot down a few things about their product. Complete and turn in your Passport by 11:30 am on Friday, October 20 at THE DECK for a chance to win $500, to be announced at 12:30 pm (must be present to win).

MetalTalk™ LIVE FROM METALCON

A special “Women in Metal Construction” episode will be held LIVE from METALCON. Heidi J. Ellsworth sits down with Nicole Pinto with Sheridan Metal Resources and Michelle Kettering with LTD Exteriors to discuss women in metal construction and the metal industry. Both women trained with John Sheridan and are part of the new Training Zone at METALCON. HANDS-ON TRAINING AT METALCON

Attention contractors and installers: get hands-on training at the NEW METALCON Training Zone, sponsored by Sherwin-Williams, located at Booth #6071 in the Exhibit Hall. Training provided by professional trainer, John Sheridan of Sheridan Metal Resources. There will be featured demonstrations and education using a variety of mock-ups and materials including painted steel, aluminum, zinc, copper and other natural metals. Attendees will also gain an understanding of Sherwin-Williams’ new MetalVue program. Among the manufacturers donating metal roofing materials are Drexel Metals, McElroy Metal and VMZinc.
