Introducing the METALCON Training Zone

The 2024 tradeshow floor will include a METALCON Training Zone sponsored by Sherwin-Williams. This zone offers hands-on learning opportunities for roofing contractors interested in adding metal roofing to their product line, regardless of their experience with metal.

Led by John Sheridan and his team of experts at Sheridan Metal Resources, the training will showcase demonstrations and educational sessions using mockups and materials like painted steel, aluminum, zinc, copper, and other natural metals. It will be available in English and Spanish and held in the Exhibit Hall, which is open during expo hours.

Metal Construction Association’s Metal Mastery Demos

As metal roofing gains popularity, it’s become more crucial than ever for contractors and installers to understand the nuances and proper techniques for forming panels and installing metal roofing systems. In this series of demos, experts from the Metal Construction Association and Metal Roofing Alliance will cover industry installation best practices of metal shingles, standing-seam roofing panels, and much more.

Metal Roof Installation Training Certificate Program Part: 1

Overview: This two-day, eight-hour introductory certificate program, based on the MCA’s Metal Roof Installation Manual, offers participants classroom training on various topics, including substrates, safety, and panel types, along with direct interaction with industry experts. Successful participants will receive the MCA’s Metal Roofing Certificate of Completion.

Metal Shingles Painted and Stone Coated
