METALCON 2026 takes place from October 7-9 at the Orange County Convention Center.
Background:
Since 1991, METALCON has held its position as the only annual international event offering comprehensive education, training and product exhibits focused on the application of metal in design and construction. Contractors, architects, installers, builders, developers, owners, fabricators, manufacturers and suppliers from more than 50 countries attend each year.
Industry experts from more than 250 leading companies exhibit the latest products, solutions and game-changing technologies while sharing their knowledge with attendees. Industry specialists present key topics in the show’s highly rated education program. METALCON’s long-standing reputation is one of creating a vibrant atmosphere to showcase products and generate new ideas.
METALCON is the only annual tradeshow and conference devoted to the application of metal in industrial, institutional, light commercial and residential projects. The show’s success is based on a dynamic exhibit hall, extensive educational programs, networking and interactive learning opportunities.
METALCON is produced by PSMJ Resources, Inc., the leading authority on the effective management of architecture, engineering and construction firms; and sponsored by the Metal Construction Association, an organization of manufacturers and suppliers. In addition, 100 associations and publications from various industry segments support METALCON through ongoing promotional and educational efforts. This is the event’s seventh time in Las Vegas.
Annual Giving Back Program:
Each year, METALCON gives back to the local community where the show takes place. Last year, METALCON partnered with representatives of the Atlanta area Semper Fi & America’s Fund (The Fund), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping service members in all branches of the United States Armed Forces.
This year, METALCON is again partnering with The Fund in Las Vegas. The program was created to direct urgently needed resources and financial support to critically wounded, ill and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces alongside their families.
We will be fundraising onsite and holding a raffle, offering multiple prizes, including a grand prize two-night complimentary hotel stay during METALCON 2026, with a full access pass to the show and to two in-depth workshops.
Additional contributions to The Fund can be made before, during and after the show online at metalcon.com, via the METALCON mobile app or on-site in the exhibit hall at The Deck, where members of show management will be available to meet supporters. The money raised at the show will help drive urgently needed resources and financial support for Las Vegas area veterans and further the organization’s outreach.
The America’s Fund Check Presentation Ceremony takes place on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 10:00 a.m. at The Deck. Veteran Corporal Adam Bautz, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.) is joining us once again for this ceremony as The Fund representative. Bautz, who lives in Las Vegas, is a “graduate” of The Fund’s Apprenticeship Program and is leading our special offsite Valley of Fire Tour on Monday, Oct. 20.
Giving Back Continues:
At METALCON 2025, a remarkable new initiative will take center stage—a full-scale steel frame build of Eagles Landing, a future healing retreat for combat-wounded veterans in Hall, Montana. This 2,500-square-foot barndominium, marks the first phase of a permanent sanctuary designed to offer peace, rest and renewal for those who have served.
Before the show opens, the steel frame of the barndominium will be erected inside the METALCON exhibit hall. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the structure, meet the project team, and learn about the mission behind this inspiring project. After the show, the structure will be transported to Montana and reassembled at its permanent location, where it will be completed and serve as a lasting retreat for veterans.
The build is a collaborative effort between METALCON, Military Warriors Support Foundation, Scottsdale Construction Systems, The Barndominium Company, and The Expo Group. These organizations—along with exhibitors including Steel Dynamics, Carlisle Architectural Metals,
S-5!, Titanium, Novagard and others—are donating materials, services, logistics, and expertise to ensure the project’s success both at the show and in Montana. Learn more at metalcon.com/barndo.
