10 Things You Need to Know Before You Go!

REGISTER for METALCON 2023, scheduled for October 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Register on-line or on-site at the Convention Center starting Tuesday, October 17 thru Thursday, October 19, 7:30am – 5:00pm, and Friday, October 20 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. The Total Experience registration includes a three-day pass to all exhibits, educational sessions, keynotes, and networking activities — ALL in one place — ALL on the show floor.

UPGRADE your existing registration to include one or two Workshops with the NEW Value Pass registration options! (Note: some occur on Tuesday, 10/17 and pre-registration is required). As an added benefit, Value Pass holders get to access the exhibit hall one hour early on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

ATTEND Keynotes by highly acclaimed speakers. HGTV’s Rico to the Rescue star, Rico León, presents “Real Life Scenarios from Nightmares to Dreams Come True,” on Wednesday, October 18 at 10:00 am. Ken Simonson, Chief Economist of the Associated General Contractors of North America, presents, “Construction Outlook for ’24: Forbidding or Reason for Cheer?” on Thursday, October 19 at 10:00 am. And don’t miss the BONUS Keynote on Friday, October 20 at 11:00 am, “Fighter Pilot Mindset” – From Ideas to Execution” with former fighter pilot turned CEO, Christian “Boo” Boucousis. All Keynotes are INCLUDED in your registration and take place in the Flack Global Metal Theater on the show floor. NEW this year – Start your morning off with a Kick-off Super Session. “Designing for Las Vegas: A Full House of Finishes for Allegiant Stadium to Enhance, Protect, and Cool“ with the designers of Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Wednesday, 10/18, at 8:30 am and meet acclaimed designer and author Stefan Al on Thursday at 8:30 am with his presentation, “Steel and Skylines: Unveiling Innovations from the Las Vegas Strip to Super Tall Buildings.” The Kick-Off’s will take place in room S229.

CHOOSE from dozens of AIA credit earning, FREE education sessions included with your registration. The Sustainability, Technical Know-How, and Best Practices Learning Centers are located on the show floor. View the Education Sessions to create your personal schedule. One of the “must-see” sessions includes: “The State of the Industry,” presented by leaders of the Metal Construction Association, Wednesday, 10/18 at 3:45 pm.

LEARN about metal in design. The Architect’s Experience at METALCON, a “show within a show,” for architects, specifiers and design professionals to explore the ways metal can be used to solve a wide variety of design, structural, environmental, cost and performance challenges. Register separately for this experience and head to the dedicated pavilion in the Exhibit Hall for education sessions and networking.

CONNECT! Women in metal construction are invited to the exclusive “Metal and Mimosas” breakfast on Wednesday, 10/18, from 8:00 – 9:30 am at the Renaissance Hotel Wine Room (Join the waitlist). Enjoy “Oktoberfest” daily with participating exhibitors – Prost! And play “Passport to Win” – get a Passport at registration, visit with designated exhibitors for a “passport stamp,” and turn the passport in at The Deck for a chance to win $500!

BAG CHECK AVAILABLE! 

Bag check is $5 per bag per day for luggage and coats only at the Fed Ex Business Center near registration in the expo hall. The hours are: Wed, 10/18 and Thurs, 10/19 – 9 am – 5 pm and Friday, 10/20 – 8 am – 3 pm.
