What is the Value of MCM System Fabricator Certification

Metal Composite Materials (MCM) are a strong and growing aspect of the metal construction industry.  With so many metal fabricators and composite material creators working within our market, how can contractors, architects and designers determine who are the ideal suppliers?  The Metal Construction Association has diligently developed a program to address this exact situation.  They have developed a fabricator certification program to help contractors, designers, and all other purchasers navigate the world of MCM fabricators more easily.  Certified fabricators will be able to show prowess and ability within the world of high-end, monumental building products.  Being able to show their ability, safety focus, correctness, and ingenuity.  All attendees will understand what it takes to meet this certification standard, why the standard is important, and how fabricators can achieve MCM Systems Fabricator Certification.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe and define what Metal Composite Materials (MCM) are.
  • Determine how to choose suppliers that meet project specifications and regional requirements.
  • The importance of certified suppliers and the differences they supply in the marketplace.
  • How certified suppliers can affect the safety and longevity of a purchased product.
  • What makes up the MCM supplier certification.
