Join us next Wednesday, March 8, as leading roll forming expert, Paul Tiefenthal, leads us in an important presentation on the basics of the roll forming industry. Roll forming isn’t a single process carried out on a single type of system, but a family of processes performed on a variety of systems. Learning about roll forming is a matter of learning about roll forming lines, the processes they perform, and the roles and capabilities of auxiliary equipment including seam welders, and more. Discover all this and more details about what makes roll forming an indepth process.

Meet our Presenter Paul Tiefenthal:

Paul is an advanced roll form tooling engineer on the roll form tooling development team at Meta Tool Technologies (MTT), a global, full-service supplier of roll form tooling, stamping dies, prototypes, injection molds, and fixtures. Paul’s team is responsible for developing next generation processes and tooling as it pertains to roll forming. Previous experiences include Shape Corporation, where he led new tooling projects as well as the development of advanced tooling designs and processes, and with Tru-Tech Tool and Machine Corporation as Vice President of Engineering where he was responsible for the design and integration of roll forming systems for many industries. Paul is a member of and a Past Chairman of FMA’s Roll Forming Council.
