Sacred geometry has influenced architecture for centuries, but in modern design, its focus on the beauty of geometric patterns is often overlooked or hidden. This session presents a case study of a unique project that brings the beauty of sacred geometry to the forefront of installation and design. Steve will discuss the process and challenges of roofing a timber framed, straw slurry insulated home owned by two artists. By combining their shared interest and talents in sacred geometry they have created a unique tessellated mosaic roof that is one-of-a-kind. The result speaks for itself, a proof of concept and an artistic statement that stands out in the limited arena of construction product design.
