 METALCON has had a significant impact in changing people's perceptions
about metal construction products. Twenty years ago, many architects and
owners viewed metal construction products as unattractive barn building
material or house siding. METALCON is the first and only tradeshow to
bring metal to the forefront as a primary building material and enabling
manufacturers to emphasize the aesthetic, durable and sustainable
attributes of metal construction products. In other tradeshows, metal
construction products get lost in a sea of more traditional building
material or get tucked away in a corner of the exhibit hall as a metal pavilion.
